Many of us know that plumbing issues can create other damages to a home. Dry-rot, sheet-rock damage, sub-structure, cabinets, electrical, flooring, and much more. To top it off, water damage can also create molds and mildew.
Unfortunately, many plumbing companies or plumbers are not equipped to make all the needed repairs outside of the immediate plumbing fix. (At least repairs that look intentionally done by a professional). They usually have “contacts” for you to call and make arrangements that could take weeks or months to get your home back to being fully functional!

The two things that can slow down a project are the time it takes you to make choices, and contingent on availability of the products you choose. Otherwise, there is no reason for a water damaged tub and shower stall to take months to get completed.
We came across a bathroom, this summer, which had a horrible odor that lingered all the time. We found the tub drain neck was damaged leaking water into the walls and flooring of the home. This was easily found by the dry rot on the outside bottom of the house.
We were quickly able to remove all damaged walls, window tub and fixtures and repair the pipes in the floor.
Next step was for the homeowner to choose a tub while we took out and rebuild the exterior walls that were affected by the water damage. This gave them a few days to pick out tile, fixtures, window, flooring, paint, and the rest.
We were then ready to put things back together. New framing, sheetrock, plumbing fixtures, tile flooring, trim, lighting, electrical, and some painting.
The final changes were to re-texture the walls to match the remaining walls of the home and to add trim for the exterior of the walls so that the homeowner could paint.
This project took Carruth Home Solutions 2 weeks from start to finish and ready for the homeowner to do their own painting though we could have arranged for exterior painting. (They said they “liked” to paint…that is funny for some reason).
